We are always looking for volunteers to help us with our programs of support and awareness. Are you interested in becoming a volunteer with our support group? Call us at (91) 9841056890 if you are interested in helping others doing one or more of the following:

Peer Support Meetings

Simply attending the meetings and sharing your stories and information is an important form of volunteering, which we recognize with invitations to volunteer functions.

Hospital clinics

Speak to newly-diagnosed men, and men who have already had their treatment, before and after they see their doctors in hospitals and cancer clinics in your city or locality.

Hospital visits

if you’ve had a radical prostatectomy (RP), visit other men who have just undergone the same surgery to share your experience and make them feel we care and they are not alone.

Support Line

Become a resource to talk to men and their families about the prostate cancer journey. We maintain lists of experiences so that the most appropriate person can return calls.

Speakers Bureau

Join our group of speakers who go out and talk to business groups, service clubs, and religious organizations about the importance of being screened for prostate cancer as well as the work of our support group. For all of the above, some training may be required, which we provide and/or arrange for with the hospitals.

Serve on a Subcommittee

Sometimes we need members to serve briefly on special committees to help us with their expertise and experience in different professions.

Special Events

We need people to help organise or simply help out at various events throughout the year.

Awareness Nights

we can always use more help to organise and host Awareness Nights

Do you have services which you can donate?

For example, we could use someone in the printing industry who would be interested in donating his printing services for our flyers and newsletters. We would advertise that “printing donated by . . . . .”
